Frequently Asked Questions

  • Delivery

  • Our truck delivers to most of our routes on a two week cycle. We can deliver automatically every two, four, six or eight weeks. You may also choose to be “On Call”, in which case you would call our office a day or two ahead of your scheduled delivery day to place the order. If you are on automatic delivery and don’t need water, we ask that you call the office and advise us to skip the scheduled delivery.

  • We will provide you with a calendar, showing the delivery days in your area for the entire year.

  • Yes, we deliver a minimum of four bottles per stop.

  • Our drivers will usually leave the same number of full bottles as they find empties, keeping in mind the minimum order. If you need more or less you may leave a note with the bottles or call the office by the day before with instructions. For business accounts, our drivers are very good a managing the correct quantity to leave based upon previous deliveries, the weather, and the nature of the business.

  • Yes. There is a discount of $0.50 per bottle for orders of eight bottles or more and 1.00 per bottle for sixteen or more, as long as the delivery is made on the regular day for your area.

  • Our deliveries are normally made between 8:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

  • As long as you have a safe place to leave the bottles, out of view from the street and not in the direct sun, we can make the delivery. Please be sure to notify our office if you are going to be away in the winter when bottles may freeze if left out overnight.

  • Whenever you put the last bottle on your dispenser, it is a good idea to consult your delivery schedule. If you are not going to last until the next delivery day, please contact our office as soon as possible. We may have another route that is close to you, allowing us to come early.

  • Our driver will provide an invoice at the time of delivery. You may pay by cash or cheque at the time of delivery, or call the office with credit card information at any time. You may also leave a credit card number on file with us that will be charged at the end of each month, if the balance owed is in excess of $20.00.

  • Water and Coolers

  • All our water is great for drinking, although our Distilled and Reverse Osmosis water have many other uses as well. In general people choose our water for what isn’t it, like chlorine, fluoride, and sodium. While our Spring Water has dissolved minerals that many consider beneficial, the levels are moderate so the taste and texture isn’t “chalky” like some brands. For those using our water primarily for tea or coffee, we suggest either Distilled or Reverse Osmosis, neither of which will leave a mineral residue in your kettle or coffee maker.

  • Our coolers are made in Canada and are of very high quality and Energy Star rated. The plastic parts don’t break off easily or discolour, as with cheaper brands. Most of our coolers have a 5 year compressor warranty. We have found coolers that we sold or placed on rental more than 25 years ago that are still working like new. Considering the disposal cost for refrigeration appliances at the landfill, it pays to buy a cooler that will last.

  • In the 40 years that we have been in the water business, we have always considered our friendly reliable service to be our most important feature. We have a great mix of long term, knowledgeable staff and youthful recent additions whose energy is inspiring.

We offer high quality drinking water in environmentally friendly refillable containers, which are recycled after 30-40 fills.

We have been involved in the local food movement for the past 10 years. Our most recent project has been the building of gardens on our property, where we have planted fruit trees and berry bushes. Our garden space has recently been opened as a place for our neighbours to plant vegetables and pollinators.
